Check4gb doesn't check above 128GB, as it says in the docs, and as I also found out... it passed despite it not working properly... buggy drivers.... not Check4gb's fault.
I assume the 4xEIDE'99 driver should be similar to the FastATA driver - which is both NSD and TD64 compliant and therefore does not require NSDPatch to the scsi.device (and maybe should explicitly not have it set?). It replaces the scsi.device. |
