I don't see that big problem there, or piracy at least. Most important terms are filled, author gets the money he deserves and user gets the unlocking keyfile. I don't think it's important if user's name reads somewhere or not. Purchase can be done legally and that's it. You don't have your name printed around in many other items you buy either.

You shouldn't feel disappointed when you've done the right thing and supported the author. I admit that I haven't registered my MUI keyfile ever, always used a pirated one, but for that I made a donation to him for MorphOS version and that felt good and hopefully covers little the unauthorized use before In any case, Amiga hadn't got that far and special without MUI ever...
