Amiga User International - Coverdisk hunt

Okay, the second coverdisk hunt is on

First the MIA list :
Code:
Amiga User International Superdisk #001
Amiga User International Superdisk #019
Amiga User International Superdisk #026
Amiga User International Superdisk #036
Amiga User International Superdisk #093 - #096
Amiga User International Superdisk #098
(if you think that are many missing disks, note that AMR has none and TOSEC only 19 superdisks )
Well, not much else to say except : Happy hunting

Also missing : The Great AUI Utilities Disk No. 1 - 6

Btw : You can find quite a few coverdisk scans in 'Misc/Scans/Diskscans/Magazin disks/Amiga User International' as well

Amiga User International Superdisk #057 Top Utilities Disks 1&2 and Essential Clipart Disk (May '95)
I have these.

Ed: "Also missing : The Great AUI Utilities Disk No. 1 - 6"
I might well have some of these too - they were compressing multiple floppies onto cover disks at the time, The Great AUI Utilities Disk Nos.2 & 3 are on Superdisk No.68 (October '95).

Would be great if you could make images of those disks and upload them to the file server

Damn! My A1200's output isn't showing properly on my telly. Wobbly and completely mashed up when anything uses the scan lines just down from top of screen.

Toggling borderblanking changes the behaviour, but not in a usable manner.

Hmm. I'll have to move stuff around, methinks. Maybe reset the screenmode... can't do that through Prefs, can't see any stable picture once the window is open...

I'll need a little time.

Not good. Maybe someone had similar issues and can offer some solution other than buying a new tellie...

It worked the last time I used it, and I do think it's the A1200 that is the cause... hmm... I'm using composite (because it's convenient), I might try the 1942 again...

Edit: the Kickstart insert disk animation screen of my A600 is perfectly clean and stable through the same connecting lead, so it's not the telly.

Or just pack them with DiskSqueeze, and upload them for me to unpack to ADF with uaeunp, or unpack them with uaeunp yourself.

It would be nice to use the CAPS dumping tools on these disks, and we could get 100% versions since AUI used custom formats near the end.

The 80 track, 12 sectors per track, 983040 byte .ADF images are 100% versions (though not in the way SPS like them ).

So these are going to be a problem to preserve for sps. Wonder if they find a way with the kryoflux machine or if up to the task of doing them yet.

And you all have seen these sites, scroll down to notes on the facebook one it has links for AUI cds for download. Split archive doesn't say if contains iso or files or not, hope they are iso imaged. If turn out to be files were they done on pc would they be ok!. Maybe someone post at this facebook page for the floppy disk images, maybe they have them on an another site.
