[EGM] Child's Play

http://www.egmmag.com/article2/0,4364,1338730,00.asp

For those that haven't already seen it, it's a fairly entertaining article. A few kids were forced to play some of the classics we grew up with. The results are shown...

Smile It reminds me....

.... how all to often kids end up playing more with the packaging at christmas or things that stretch their imagination than the replica role play toys
....They try to make sense or invent rules to make a game out of very little ..somehow I think the techno industry has missed that by trying to add too many features or poor complicated control to many hyped games.....those that contain a mixture of simple mini games however .....hence the point it doesn,t have to be accurate to keep attension just varied with progressive levels not just eazy / normal/ hard etc .....end of level bosses gave longevity to many earlier games as did bonus games .....are we going to have to resimplify in order to go forward ? what do you think ?

Roll eyes (sarcastic)

I don't think any retro-title could ever be dumbed-down enough for that lot!
Note the complaints about Donkey Kong being "too hard",as for the tetris comments, good grief!

Although I don't see the point of torturing anyone with E.T., leave that shambles buried in the desert!
