Looking for extra RAM for A1200
Hi eveybody,
I'm looking for some extra RAM to expand my A1200. Currently i own a standard A1200 config with 2 Mb and a 3 Gb hard drive. For now, i don't intend to buy an expansion card (except of course if i can find one at a decent price). I'd just want to open my A1200 and plug an extra chip then play ! If only someone there could sell and send me add-ons it would be wonderfull !!! Another question : Are blizzard cards fully compatible with games ? Thanks a lot for your help ! Not possible. Your only choice is an expansion card. Either a RAM card or a Turbo card.

You sure? The description "plug an extra chip then play !" isn't exactly conducive.

I just got a Blizzard 1200/4, it has a socket for an FPU but comes with 4mb ram on my board - upgradable to 8mb.
It has no accelerator, so it is really just a ram expansion board, I think there are a few on ebay (where I got mine) from £30-60. Now I can play WHDLoad SWOS

First of all, thanks a lot for your help. Like 8bitbubsy said, i meant expanding the A1200 ram similarly you add the 512 kb slow ram on A500 : open the beast and just plug an extra ram.
Possible or not ? |

Right now there is a 030 with 32Mb RAM for sale on Vesalia. The accelerator have a very inviting price!
