Hi.

I haven’t read this whole thread all the way through…so please accept my apologize if I ask now an already answered question:
I have some trouble getting the A2386SX Emulation started.

Settings:
68000
1 MB Chip
4 MB Fast
ROM: Kick 3.1
Janus-Version: 36.83 (from Amiga.resource.cx)
A2386SX selected, ROM: A2386 BIOS 1.0 (64k)
4 MB RAM

Trouble:
PC-Prefs says, that there is a A2286 or A2088 installed, but never the A2386.

Any ideas whats wrong here?

The usual answer: not enough information. First check log (paths panel -> enable logging or use -log command line parameter) to check that board initializes (bios is found etc..)

If log does not tell anything obvious: attach config and winuaelog.txt log.

In "Expansions" select "x86 Bridgeboards". Select every bridgeboard that have "*" before name (except in your case A2386) and select ROM file as blank string (not "ROM disabled" or name of ROM because that enables board).

x86 Bridgeboards

Everything works well with the latest version of WinUAE
Except the A2386SX emulation with the CMOS RAM save problem.

Directions in A2088 installing procedures

Hi there. I had in the past a truth A2088 using a PC HP. I don't have any more.

I am trying to install it in my emulation using a folder HD as a PC host.
I am following the A2088 original manual instruction but I cannot go forward.

I use the installation procedure and some software are well coppied to the hd.

After that, the next step is setting bridgeboard memory but the PCPrefs does not open.

Is there any step by step to do it?

Thanks
