Crash using Portaudio WASAPI mode

Whenever I try and use WASAPI mode WinUAE crashes.

Relevant system info:

Windows 7 RC
Athlon x2 6400+
Creative X-Fi Sound card

Crash dump attached

Also it's incredibly slow when using Creative ASIO driver although I guess thats down to creative more than WinUAE as the ASIOforAll drivers are fine.

Portaudio WDM-KS and WASAPI are in development status. Can't really help.

For me WDM-KS crashes after switching to another mode. WASAPI seems to work perfectly and ASIO is slow. (Auzen Prelude which is Creative X-FI chip based, Windows 7 RC x64)

Well, done some further testing and it seems like trying to use 5.1 mode in the sound settings is part of the reason for the crash anyway. With stereo selected WinUAE doesn't crash.

Maybe this is a driver issue as the Creative ASIO driver doesn't output any audio when more than 2 channels are selected either.

(at least official Auzen drivers aren't 100% Windows 7 compatible, above ones work perfectly)

EDIT: ASIO returns paInvalidChannelCount if channels > 2.

Success (Obviously these audigy drivers didn't work, but the X-Fi driver pack by the same guy worked a treat. I had to uninstall everything though manually first then reinstall the package for it to work.

I am sure it is a driver limitation not a port audio one, if you try and get Winamp to use ASIO you can only map 2 channels with the creative driver also.

It worked once, now it's back to crashing each time. Weird.
