For Sale: Amiga1200 OS4.1 Upgrade Kit! BPPC 060/60 PPC330 Mediator 1200TX +Radeon9250

Hi Folks!

I want to treat the wife to a nice Holiday so I have decided to sell this hardware as complete upgrade kit for your A1200, you will of course need a Tower for your A1200 to use the Mediator

The following Hardware & Software is included in the buddle:

Blizzard PPC, upgraded by Stachu with latest mask 060 (was an 040) and 300mhz PPC clocked at 330mhz. 060 can run between 50mhz & 66mhz (maybe even 72mhz!) It is supplied with a 60mhz crystal. (Oscillator for 060 is socketed) This is a Rev0 board with no SCSI

2x 128mb Simms for a maxed out 256mb Ram

Genuine OS4.1 Classic, boxed with Boot Floppy, Manual & CDROM.

Mediator 1200TX (6 PCI slots) This is the latest Mediator from Elbox. Boxed but there is no MMCD, The Mediator & PCI cards have native support in OS4.1 Classic, I will put on CDR the OS3.x drivers.

Radeon 9250 128mb PCI Graphics Card, supported in OS3.x and OS4.1 Classic, compatible with Warp3D & full hardware transparency features in OS4.1 Classic

SATA PCI Card so you can use SATA HDD's in OS4.1 Classic, if you like you can boot from a CF card (the OS4.1 kickflash) and then have it automatically disable IDE and run only from SATA

Realtek 8029AS PCI Network Card, fully supported by OS3.x & OS4.1 Classic.

USB PCI Card (Only supported in OS3.x)

For all this great hardware I am looking for £999+ P&P and will give you the absolutely most pimped out A1200 possible!

I'll post Photo's later today as I need to gather everything together, all items are tested & working, the BPPC is currently in use in my A1200D and the Mediator TX & PCI cards were tested prior to being anti static bagged and boxed up.

Please bare in mind that this hardware can be quite tricky to setup, it's probably not ideal for a complete novice user however the OS4.1 Manual, if followed step by step shouldn't prove too much of a challenge as I said, all hardware has native support in OS4.1 Classic (except the USB card)

A 4Way IDE device is recommended for installing OS4.1 Classic as you need to have the HDD and CDROM on the same IDE0 channel for install and to correctly boot (Although it may be possible to create a custom cable I'd recommend doing it the tried & tested way)

I also recommend purchasing an ESS Solo 1 based sound card as this is the only one fully supported by OS4.1 Classic, sadly I don't have one spare to include.

I'm am selling as a bundle only, no splits.

Here is a Video of OS4.1 Classic running on my A1200 with Mediator/Radeon/PPC330:

Thanks for looking

Cheers mate

She's been in a new job for 3 months and needs a break lol, she has one week to use so I thought we'd go somewhere warm

I have 2 upgraded BPPC now, only fair to give one back to the community and since my GREX1200 is up and running, no need for the Mediator anymore

Just to say if anyone thinks the price is outrageous, the BPPC can cost over £500 with the Ram + the upgrade costs (£200) + the Mediator £200 and then the PCI cards, it's pretty much selling at cost and saves you trying to locate all this rare and hard to find hardware! Oh not to mention the cost of a licensed OS4.1 Classic

Oh and to know it's all tested & working together should be priceless!

Will you accept milk bottle tops?

Jokes, great hardware for a great price! If I knew I'd have the time to use it I would definitely have this.

Good luck with the sale!
