Any interested in buying NEW PPC and 68K accelerators for A1200?
Who would be interested in buying brand new A1200 accelerators in the following prizes?
Please be serious, I intent to visit a foreign source on a forthcoming business trip, and I will judge the credibility my self, but I must know if there is any interest first.... Apollo 1240 @ 40mhz ~105euro Blizzard 1260 @ 50mhz ~180euro Blizzard PPC 603e/160mhz + 040/25mhz ~180euro Blizzard PPC 603e/200mhz + 040/40mhz ~210euro Blizzard PPC 603e/200mhz + 060/50mhz ~300euro NOTHING is final, and everything can be a big dissapointment.... I just want to see if it will be worthing my time/money invested.... |

I would be interested in a spare PPC 603e+ 200mhz/060 if i had the money...
I would consider those prices a bit steep IMO. |

As a PPC combo user
What tempted me to the change over was buying it with a graphics card [the old B-Vision no longer available thankgod ] as it gave the promise of a totally new experience without the need to add a scan doubler to use cheap Pc monitors.
The reality of todays position is that more commonly, there are mediator boards that can be used to add on cheap graphics sound etc . BUT with the disadvantage of being tower ONLY options So maybe your enquirey of interest is a broader subject than you have at first set out ? I hope like in the C64 emulator thread to be proved TOTALY wrong by others answers to your question As while PPC certainly requires additional care I have used one for more than just running DOOM with |

These exact same model cards were available for roughly the exact same price some time ago. Myself and many others (see the thread on Amiga.org) tried to purchase them. It seems the person, if he has been tracked down right, is now in jail for more serious crimes.
For that reason, I'm curious who you intend to buy these off. |
