Looks more like painting program than a game

Nah, it's pretty old. Very basic graphics but with a decent gameplay for a 1985 16bit game.

I don't judge a game by its looks. I will see what it takes for a port. Not all games are equally difficult to port, far not !

Hell yeah! I would LOVE to see International Karate on the Amiga. I actually prefer it to IK+ (although I LOVE IK+).

Um...thanks for sharing that with the class. So...when can we expect your original coded-from-scratch versions to appear?

It would be something extra special to see Oids on the Amiga. I still like to make levels for it even now and it was for a very long time the one reason I missed not having the ST. Emulation means I can play it any time and do, but seeing this on Amiga would be truly something some of us would celebrate

Oids AND Inter. Karate is my dream.

It's fantastic seeing Gauntlet etc. finally appear on the Amiga, but my preference is for classic "original" ST games, better versions of which can't already be played in Mame, for example.

I just found out that one of my favorite speccy games did come out on the ST : RANARAMA. It is a nice flip-screen game, very similar to Paradroid. A shame an amiga conversion never came out. Looks like it might be an easy candidate for porting too since no scrolling or similar involved...

This one! I never will understand why the Amiga had 1 and 3, but 2 was never released for it.

Though I believe it's a 'GEM' application, it seems this game came out for every platform at the time except the Amiga....

http://www.mobygames.com/game/phantasie-ii/screenshots

I always hated it when RPG series missed one of the games on one or another platform. The Ultima games for example, The Atari 8-Bit got 1-4, C64 has 1-6, Atari ST has 2-6, and Amiga has 3-6 (natively, I believe Exult (Ultima 7 interpreter) has an old version for RTG, and the very awesome and Epic NovaCoder is working on an AGA version of Exult.)

So while we're at it, throw Ultima 2 on there? I think it's also GEM based though, which I think you mention is more difficult to port?

A port of this for CD32 was being made, but was stopped because of too little interest and time I think. There's a thread here on EAB somewhere as well.

That was sounding like a cool project! Anyone know if we can get it worked on some more? Open Source it or something?
