wanted: PD - Horace Takes A Trip
cant believe i've never requested this here before, but it appears i havent.
in the pages of Amiga Format, and in the form of DMS files on a guy called "Moosie"'s website, lived a dirty little Horace game entitled Horace Takes A Trip it involved the amophous blue-blob man taking lots of acid, and then shooting things in crazy whacky levels. It was a SEUCK game, on 2 disks, had a small review in AF one issue, and had some levels based on some other games (apparently speccy Xenon gfx featured heavily in one level) i spoke to the author once, who says he has no idea if he still has the disks, and at the moment doesnt know where to start looking. So i'm asking if anyone has this in their PD collection they could perhaps ADF, or if anyone downloaded the DMS files before Moosie's website went down. as a Horace obsessive, I'd love to see this game, even if it isnt that good. thanks for any help. |

I've had a good look through every PD site I can think off for Horace goes Bumming, er, Horace Takes a Trip, damn you mr_Orga5m! I'm afraid to say I drawn a blank and definately not tripping the light fantastic.
Here's the main site I checked: http://www.amiga-stuff.com/pd/ Who knows, maybe the author might strike lucky and find the original disks? |

The original author "Moosie" contacted me to say he has found the disks, i'd like to thank him for tracking me down!
They were posted to me, and i have ADFed them.... though the filenaming is no good for TOSEC, i'm sure someone will oblige! they seem to work ok from what i can tell... didnt get any errors during the ADF process which was good. I've uploaded the game to The Zone for anyone (not) interested in this Horace/SEUCK 3-games-in-one "classic" oh, and if anyone stumbles across the review in Amiga Format, please let me know which issue it's in! |
