I will also leave Exile off. Will have to try and contact author, see if we can get permission to host it again.
Hopefully we can contact James. He may be reading this at some point!

I'm sure many appreciate you efforts, thanks.

Downloads are now working, however some sites are dead, so I have removed links.
All other downloads are fine (except PDreams-MODs.zip, anyone got this?).

EDIT:- Just managed to salvage about page, and PDreams-MODS.zip.

I have a local mirror from just before the original site disappeared, so if you are missing anything FOL, just let me know.

I installed it yesterday with your link in Windows 7. Thanks Fol . All went right and I discovered Voyager V3, an internet browser. I hadn't heard of it before, and it looks great. I found the keyfile in some file server. I would like to try it in my real Amiga.

You guys are awesome for bringing this back. Those were great days with the old 56k modem roaming around on that site. I remember James had a blog while he was in Japan but then I lost track of him. The guy was a great help to people like me who knew next to nothing about how to emulate an Amiga.

OMG! It does seem strange to see those homepage for AIAB again! Brings back memories. I recall having this set up a working workbench with lots of utilities for me! Ah, those were the days... hang on! Those are STILL the days!

Its really cool to see this again, I also remember his blog in japan, which I followed for a bit.

AIAB was great, back in the day when I was getting into Amiga emulation James' AIAB box was a great help, it really does deserve to be archived, nice one, FOL!!!

Ok,

The AIAB site is now working fully. Thanks to Haps for the updated local version he had.

I diabled the link page as it went no where and the ads from main page (will remove remaining ads once I get chance.
I also linked the forum link to a forum section at ultimateamiga.co.uk.

If theres any other problems, please let me know.
I will also see about updating stuff, i.e. winuae links etc etc.

As much as I praise those who have made the effort to bring this site back online I think this approach is wrong.
Not only is the site woefully dated and confusing to navigate these days but the download links do not provide the latest updates and the latest news and files in the downloads section suggest that WinUAE is not even at version 1.0 yet! Not only are old links (e.g. Paul's guide, RIP) not forwarded to this site (the original is just a place-holder now) but sending people here will not give them the last release made.
The latest version of AiaB that I have is 2007-12-13 although I have no idea where I got this from! I can't find it anywhere now at least. There is also an add-on for AfA-OS should you be interested in that dated 2007-05-28. Links to these are below.
In my opinion a brand new page needs to be written with the correct links, better still the old page tidied up as what's there now can easily be found at the Internet Archive already.
This is a link to Jaybee's latest downloads although 2007-12-13 is not there, that I've uploaded here at .

To follow up,

I have given MadAngus FTP access to AIAB site, as so he can update it.
This should bring it up to date.

We did discuss changing site, but I think its best left as same format.
Thats how James intended it and its the way most of us remember it.

This is good, glad to hear it. I'll take a look later when he's had a chance to do so and make some further suggestions if necessary if that's OK.

@MagikGimp
Suggestions are truly welcome.

Yes it is going to be maintained again.

I won't be making any changes to the site design, especially after reading the comments here and talking to FOL. I get the impression that if I did I would be ripping the heart out of it.

There might be additional pages in time or slight reordering of a page layout, but only if it makes sense and is needed. So suggestions would help to decide what needs done if anything.

There will be updated versions in the coming months, updated components, tested against the current WinUAE, you know the drill, and how long it takes.

I will say that I not aiming at a replacement or a competitor to AmiKit or ClassicWB, I like the lightweight nature of AIAB and would like to keep it that way. Ultimately FOL is the project lead on this, so it depends on suggestions and FOL's lead as to where we take this in the future.

Big thanks to James and FOL.
