A1200 Buffered Interfaces
What one do you use?
I'm looking at different versions, and am wondering if I should go for the cheaper versions and use the free version of IDEfix, or go for the IDE-express adapter with the licenced version of IDEFix. What dose the full version give over the the free? |

It gives you express speed. I don't know how much faster it is, it'll still be PIO IDE that taxes your CPU..
Please give more info on the free version of idefix.. I thought there's either a registered or an unregistered version. |

I'm using a PowerFlyer MkII (aka Elbox fast ATA)
Working well & quite fast (PIO4) now I've been given some more up to date drivers. The next time it catches fire I'll probably give up & use my SCSI interface instead. (faster, lower CPU overhead) |
