Sometimes games have the same name but differ quite substantially in game design, then these aren't really considered conversions as such..

If you could tell us where you got the info from so one of the hol team could take a look ourselves that would be great.

Ok, sure

It may take me a while to do though... FM Towns games are pretty big (usually between 200 - 500MB compressed) and the .ISO images I have are spread across about 6 DVDs + 2 external HDDs...

Phew, after about 3 hours of searching through different media / extract / mounting / loading .ISO files using UNZ (FM Towns emulator) I've finally taken screenshots of the following FM Towns games (32 in all):

... 4D Sports Boxing
... Afterburner
... Awesome
... Battle Chess
... Bubble Bobble
... Chase H.Q.
... Chaos Strikes Back
... Dungeon Master
... Dungeon Master II: The Legend Of Skullkeep
... Final Blow
... Flashback
... Flying Shark
... Galaxy Force II
... Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis - The Graphic Adventure
... Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - The Graphic Adventure
... Legend of Kyrandia, The
... Legends Of Valour: Volume 1 - The Dawning
... Loom
... Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge
... New Zealand Story, The
... Operation Wolf
... Raiden
... Rocket Ranger
... Secret of Monkey Island, The
... Shadow of the Beast
... Sim City
... Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers
... Turbo Out Run
... Ultima III: Exodus
... Ultima V: Warriors Of Destiny
... Ultima VI: The False Prophet
... Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders

Things to note:
* Some games can played in low resolution with scanlines enabled however I took all screenshots without scanlines for consistency.
* The screenshots get created as .bmp files but I converted them to .gif files to reduce file size.
* I was unable to actually start Ultima III: Exodus + Ultima VI: The False Prophet (due to incorrect User Disks) so there is no in-game screenshot for these.

Finally, as this took me so long to do, I didn't bother creating double-barrel screenshots. The title and in-game screenshots are separate files...

Hope these are ok

Ta Damien, I'll take a look at these tomorrow. As for your your attachment limit, just go to your User CP, click attachments (near the bottom) and delete your attachments that no longer need to be there.

No problem Belgarath, good to be able to contribute somehow to HOL (even though it's not strictly Amiga)

Thanks for taking the time to go through all my individual files plus creating all those DBS's

If I get any more AMIGA / Fujitsu FM Towns games then I'll post more screenshots my friend...

As Balgarath said the PC VGA versions have the same graphics as the FM Towns versions...

... but "most" FM Towns games have full synthesized music / sound effects, something that the PC versions definitely lack. This is why the .ISO files are so large i.e. 300MB+.

Also, this is what makes them so special... Especially when you think about when they were released and compare them to any other console on the market

For example if you can find it, to purchase The Secret of Monkey Island (FM Towns) is about 33,000 yen i.e £157...

Ooops, I somehow missed your questions before CFOU!...

You are correct, they are only Japanese / English. But you can get patches for French, German, and maybe even Italian

Retro-Nerd; I know that you've applied German patches before, can you help CFOU! out?

As for downloads, you should be able to find some on eMule although they take an age to get. Also, you will only find the ripped version of The Secret of Monkey Island there. To get a "full" image of this is very, very rare. Trust me...

Hey CFOU!,

the french FM-Towns translations for the Lucas Arts games are here:

http://www.atp-fr.com/

But you need to change some entries in the ScummVM.ini (C:\Windows) because ScummVM only checks the crc's of the untranslated games. Check the forum link below for the details.
