WANTED: A3000 Chip RAM 44256 Chips

Looking for 1M worth of 44256 chips. My A3000 has only 1M chip RAM and 8 empty sockets.

you can get them from A500 memory expansions easily, preferebly leak-dead ones
or old graphic card (trident-isa) at bootcar sales

i have a dead A3000 i was thinking of parting out. i'm sure it has the ram i wouldn't mind selling it

I found some chips on Ebay - HYB514256AThis is a 1 Mbit (256K x 4 Bit) High Speed DRAM IC. Access time 70 ns - this is the fasest chip from this series.
Directly TTL Compatible
Equivalent to: HY51C4256A , HM514256, etc.
Condition: Brand NEW, never used.
DIP-20 package

QTY = 4 pcs

from Bulgaria

Paste the HYB514256A in the search

OR Better deal from Arizona qty 19 for $15 shipped paste in search
TMS44C256

sorry to hear about that...

type in the search "dram 256kx4", there are bunch of them for about $2.50 each, make sure it's 20 pin version.

I'm kinda fresh on memory, because I was looking to upgrade my A500 v6 to full meg, but something died in it so the project is on hold.

i just assumed its unfixable. i tried cleaning up the leakage but i just get black on powering the thing up. otherwise its in excellent shape
