Problems with WHD game loading speeds

I'll make this as quick as possible...

Basically, I'm running an OS3.9/Pic96/MUI/detailed-wallpaper/2MbChip/8MbFast/8mbZ3Fast/4MbRTG/3MbJIT setup through the latest WinUAE. Now, some WHD games I've tried with it - for example Monkey Islands 1 & 2 - load fine, but I've noticed their loading times in between almost match that of the original floppy games (i.e. hideously slow). Is it just a setting that I need to alter or is it something else?

Check if the PRELOAD tooltype has been typed into the icon's information. If not, add it.
