Question FS-UAE Arcade does not list/detect any games

Hi all,

first, the idea of FS-UAE's Arcade frontend is great - thanks! I always wanted to smooth integrate Amiga emulation into my HTPC. And here's my problem:

Everything in FS-UAE Launcher works fine. I downloaded "Amiga Online Pack 5" and scanned its fs-uae configurations from within FS-UAE Launcher. Games are detected properly and can be executed from there. But every time I launch FS-UAE Arcade it appears empty (no games at all listed). I also created an account for Open Amiga Game Database and logged into it from within FS-UAE Launcher - still no games in Arcade. I'm using a very recent version of FS-UAE, just downloaded a couple of days ago. Do I miss something important here?

Thanks in advance!

The Arcade frontend only lists games from the online database which or found on your system. So you need to use the scan files and configurations function in FS-UAE launcher to scan your ADF files (etc).

I do need to create a FAQ for the FS-UAE Arcade alpha version though

Send a message via MSN to Greyfox
you also have to become a free member of Open Amiga Game database firstly to utilize the service, worked for me

Thanks guys! Now it works. The reason seems to be, that only locally available roms are recognized (and not those roms referenced online (by url) as in the Amiga Online Pack configs). The Online DB account I already had - but its for sure also mandatory to have a resource to retrieve meta-data and screens from.

Its great fun to sit on the sofa and browse through the good old times. :-) Thanks Frode for this nice piece of software!

I have received two reports about similar issues, described here:
https://github.com/FrodeSolheim/fs-uae-arcade/issues/7

Please add a comment with information about your OS/GPU/GPU driver if you can.
