And thanks for recording my "Help my Cat!" as well since i didnt say that specifically yet.

Good thing about PD games is that they are usually short. Thats why its nice to check them. You can usually check a PD game through enough in one hour, hence even if its bit crappier, it is still fun to try out something new, especially when you can satisfyingly complete it instead of it hanging unfinished in your backbrain.

That same reason also makes it easy to check several PD games, unlike todays Big games where it takes first hour just to get through the tutorial to learn how to play that thing at which point you are only able to actually begin to play it.

Hehe, I probably could figure it out if i spent more time on it.

If you ever release the full game, then i will make a longplay for sure! The final boss can't still be killed?

no, sadly, i was about to start work on it again last year and that's when my accelerator card died :/ but i will get round to it someday

also sending my accelerator off for repair... it has been in a box with an address on it for about a year, for some reason i never get round to sending it off. but i got an emulator working to release PuzCat, it is not very nice trying to play with the keys, i need a joypad. Also then it means i can't use cursor keys in the editor! Argh!

I use this site to find stuff nowadays. It searches through most common FTP's and Aminet at the same time.

Here you have Monty the Wolf

Make sure that you download v1.0. Version 1.1 has a bug in it making the game impossible to finish.

Wow! I've seen a few of your long plays, but didn't know just how many you had!

It also never occurred to me to subscribe (rather shamefully), so I'll definitely go on and do it.

Huge thumbs up for your dedication to the cause, too.

This seems like the most often asked question about new Amiga games.
Sometimes I wish Steam supported Amiga releases.

Another month with just PD/Freeware/Shareware games. I really like playing these games And some of them are very rare. I have not seen any videos or screenshot of many of the games i have recorded this month.

I hope you will like them

And as always, if you want to play a game i have recorded and can't find it. Let me know and i send it to you.

Not being picky but #17 should be 'War in the New Era Solar System '

BTW, I love PD games as well.

Hey Hippoonios,

Just want to say you really do a GREAT job with all those Amiga longplays! (just like Monty does with C64 longplays)
I have watched many of them, especially games where I got stuck myself, or couldn't complete, but also others, just out of interest.

Having completed something like 700 games is something you really can be proud of!
I completed shortly more than 100 in my life, but without any cheats and also without any savestates or action replay freezes (I only play on real Amiga machines, not emulators). However, I used continues if the game offers them, and I (nearly always) played them on easiest mode, if something like that was selectable.

However, there is on game I would like to see a longplay a lot, because I tried to finish that game for 2 weeks during holidays in summer, but without success:

Hugo - Par Nye Eventyr: Train & Mountain levels on 'arcade mode'

The game has been recorded in the past, but only on 'TV mode'. But in arcade mode, you have to play several different train tracks, and climbing the mountain is getting more and more trickier.
(I had to give up on the mountain after train track 3, because there was a section with holes in the ground I could not jump over)

So, if you could take an attempt on this game, then I would be very interested in how you made it
