Creaking zipstick

I just bought one off ebay and it makes a creaking noise!

Did they do that new and is there anyway of fixing it?

I refute this claim utterly They are by far the weapon of choice for the discerning gamer

[edit] Is it working as expected? I wonder if some of the switches might be tired?

Care to elaborate? There sure are a lot of crappy joysticks around but ZipStik sure isn't one of them!

I had one which did this, but it was still working. When I opened it up there was some dirt and worn out relay switch or whatever it is called. There are 4 of them for each 'position'.

I played with it and it seems to work fine just a bit noisy sometimes!

I do not have a zipstick, but I use a competition pro. Mine creaks like mad, but this is more to do with the fact that a couple of the case screws holes have snapped. Try tightening the screws and if any keep turning, then they could have snapped.
