EAB Games League Season 1 Round 2 Game Vote

Yeah, I know I said this would start on Monday, but I'm bored. Anyway, it gives this vote more time to run...

This time round, vote for 5 games you would like to play in the next round. Remember to put them in order, as points are scored according to the game's position - 1st place = 5pts, 2nd = 4pts, 3rd = 3pts, 4th = 2pts, 5th = 1pt.

Remember Slam Tilt cannot be voted for, and please vote for games that have some kind of scoring system, whether it's just points, lap times etc, something that we could feasibly play. If you vote for a pinball game please state the table you'd like to play also. Anyone is welcome to vote and/or join this league at any time.

This vote closes at 11:59pm UK time on Friday, June 1. Round 2 starts on Monday, June 11 (round 1 is still open, it finishes Friday, June 8).

@turrican3: could you please choose something else instead of Stones and Bones please, as that is in fact bugged (see the round 1 voting thread) and it would be unfair to play that as a result, thanks!

turrican2 isn't useable.. there are features to make it pointless.. like the beehives which just keep generating bee's and no timer etc..

Really? I've never properly played any Turrican game before so I've let that one go through really, but will give it a go tonight and have a look... (though I've got a feeling it's "change your vote" time again)

I wonder if it's worth my while setting up a seperate thread listing game that aren't eligible for this competition. I don't mean things like Monkey Island as that's obvious, but for games that aren't quite as clear-cut as that it might make voting a lot easier if there's a definitive list.

Uh, try to score as many goals as possible against the Amiga in a Single Game with standard International Teams. Surely that's not against the rules or am I missing something?

I've given the Turrican 2 thing some thought, and I think Bippy's right, in the interests of fairness this one isn't eligible for the league, sorry guys!

So, turrican3 and VermillioN, could you please pick another game in place of Turrican 2, thanks!

for turrican2 you are speaking about cheating ?
for the timer, this is a cheat code or cheat menu ?
i'm sure there is cheat code for others games too !!!
not turrican 2 please

we could record a video of the game and the winner must send is record to your email for certification and if he cheats, the second and so on like this no cheat is possible or if someone think there is cheating he can ask for video

Are you saying there IS a timer in Turrican 2 then? I thought Bippy's post suggested there was no timer? I will definitely have a look at this tonight, Turrican 2 stays "banned" for the time being but I will post a definitive answer one way or the other tonight.

The point was it was possible to keep killing bees forever, therefore it would render the whole thing pointless really.

you don't understand.. you can just stand shooting bee's indefinately..

turrican2 would only be good for a speedrun..

edit:my bad.. there is a timer.. so maybe allow it

Make your mind up guys!

I'm getting confused, probably because I've never really played the game before! Can I assume then, that it is fair enough the game stays banned?
