Connectline BBS

Hi Guys,

Does anyone have current contact details or know of a source for the source code to the ConnectLine BBS system?

http://aminet.net/package/comm/bbs/CL51_Demo

Thanks,
Stephen

That is the "Dev" pack for writing utils etc for connectline.

I have downloaded all the main connectline files from Aminet. Any of the dev's emails either bounce with a "user unknown" or "Domain unknown" error.

Hi! AFAIR ConnectLine was never released with source. Original coder Oliver Wagner died about 2016, Ralf moved to Switzerland and is still reachable (ramge.ch). Dont know what Mathias is doing today. A good chance could be to contact David Gerber, he could have all the old sources of Vapor resp. Oliver.

Your the second person to say Oliver has passed.

Ralf's domain comes up as not found:

Code:
[2023-04-22 12:37:21] SMTP< 450 4.1.2 <ralf@ramge.ch>: Recipient address rejected: Domain not found
** error occurred on SMTP session
*** Error occurred while sending the message:
450 4.1.2 <ralf@ramge.ch>: Recipient address rejected: Domain not found
Do you have contact information for David Gerber? Have sent you a private message.

Thanks.

I have managed to track down Ralf & Mathis, sadly neither of them have Amiga's any more or the source code.

Still trying to track down Joerg Deckert who release 5.2 beta 4, to aminet back in 2000.

That Joerg has been radio silence since April. So don't even know if I got the right person.
Have sent a followup email the other day.
