CAPS - Bards Tale Characterdisk?

Hi, another question from me, maybe a little (too) late :-)
Searched the forum, found nothing about that (and wondering why).

I load Bards Tale (CAPS-Release), then i'm asked for the Character-Disk, but there is none.
The .ipf is write-enabled, the manual says that there are characters on the original disk, but haven't found them. Also i can't save a character on the .ipf-Disk.
Also have put in an empty adf-disk, nothing happens.

Where can i make such a character disk, manual says nothing about this. Playing is not possible without this character disk.
Please help.

Yes, you need to format a blank disk and name it "BARDS TALE CHARACTER DISK".

This is described on the inlay (Inlay.png in the CAPS release), first point, under the header "Making a character disk".

It also describes how to copy the characters on the program disk to the character disk.

But even so, I agree that it would have been better to include the facility into the actual game... I bet they got quite a few support calls!

However, I would rather have this that have one of the damn games that writes to itself (saves or hiscores), which is continually problematic for us... (as we only release factory-new versions)

No problem .

And it was only quick because I happened to be around. It probably wouldn't usually be.
