I got 11 of 12 but deliberately answered one wrong (fast mem speed) to see what was going on because it said score 1 while I was doing the test the whole time.. I was thinking far out I can't be getting them all wrong.. Lol.

Got 11 of 12, too. I would be really interested in which question was answered wrong.
IMHO there are several questions which are subject to discussion. I probably only passed because I could imagine what the author thought but I do not agree with some of the answers. |

^ You can see all questions (green for right, red for wrong) after you finish the test.

Little did the test authors know that at the time this test was relevant, both Diamond and ATI had released popular accelerated video cards that did not respond to the Windows GDI commands correctly, and screen printouts were distorted as a result. So far and away the biggest cause of print distortion in Win3.11 at that time was an outdated video driver. Some of these questions are similar. The best example might be one about connecting to a VGA monitor. Most of us would simply attach a modern flat panel display and allow the built in circuitry to upscale the image, or we’d add an internal or external scan doubler, but the question presented is worded in that frustrating exam way that makes you think “I would personally at least give answer Y a try first, but I know the test wants me to answer with X.” |

It's already been done. It's called the Amiga Certified Software Engineer (ACSE) certification, which was done in cooperation with the Amiga Qualifications Working Group (AQWG). Available from http://amigan.1emu.net/releases/

Sweet! Two competing certifications! Now for phase II: replace all corporate desktop PCs with Amigas.
Also, the test has been updated again with an ever larger test database. |

Actually I think they are more complementary than competing.
The original vision was to have a range of certifications. The one I implemented is for software developers, and the questions relate to the AmigaOS API. There were also planned to be separate qualifications for hardware developers, technical support, etc. Yours is more of a technician test than a programmer test. |

11 out of 15 for me, has it now got more questions?
[edit] ah yes, I see above that it has! Still got 11 though, the running theme I think! |
