This is how I have done it and I have no problems reading the full display, as long as I am not looking from too large an angle (seeing as the display is not flush with the front).
If you are using the full width of the display (change the defaults in the menu) you do need to enlarge the hole slightly.

Thanks Jeff

3. Rotary

Any more mods available?

I will use the device with a PC - so I am assuming the menu you refer to is the PC image selector software? Or do I need to use an Amiga and AUTOBOOT.HFE for this?

How did you imagine it could stay in place without glue? Notice that the display is not mounted inside the hole but behind it.
I imagined the plastic piece behind the screen would have pressured it to stay in place but of course a very unreliable and bad idea in retrospect

No no, no need to any other software: this is in the device it self. Press both buttons to enter the menu (without usb stick inserted).

I never new this was a thing.. This only works with the OLED screen? Both buttons was eject with stick inserted, no?

I wish there was a better documentation of all firmware features. Or more likely, I wish I knew where that documentation was

In the firmware archive and on the main HxC Gotek forum :

http://torlus.com/floppy/forum/viewt...hp?f=33&t=1683

See "Internal parameters settings" :
http://torlus.com/floppy/forum/viewt...p=11486#p16457

And the LCD/OLED also tell you what to do you enter the menu when no usb stick is inserted.

Maybe related to this :

http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=1187498

But it is also possible that there is some issues regarding the ADF HD support in the firmware since i have done only some very limited tests...
