Such a thing as an Xbox 360 Amiga emulator

As the title says really. Normally im a ps2 man but theres no point in waiting for a PS3 to be good untill at least a year from now. So I went down the 360 route until the PS3 actually gets of its feet. Anyway im pretty sure theres an Amiga Emulator for XBOX1, is there such a thing for the XBOX 360? its been out a while now but I cant seem to find any info of any kind.

Definitely an Xbox Amiga emulator i.e. WinUAEX... not sure about an Xbox 360 Amiga emulator as I don't own one yet so haven't looked into it

You might be able to use the regular Xbox WinUAE on the 360. Dunno if it'll work or not but it might.

You might be onto something there. Seeing as the Xtreme 5.* firmware allows booting of XBOX1 originals(and backups if you have the original .xbe file) but there maybe a problem if the XBOX1 amiga emu one has some kind of .xbe file that wont work on the 360. hmm, interesting to know if XBOX1 users have got it to work on the 360.

I haven't done much xbox winuae stuff. In fact I haven't done any at all, I only use it on the PC. But it's worth a shot if you got the time to try it out.

WinuaeX would fall under the "unsigned code" category.

Thus not running on the 360.

The only "Amiga emulator" on the 360 will have to be an XNA development. There are non at this time.

Yep, despite some pics of Avalaunch running on the 360 a few months back and the more recent release of XNA, there has been nowt on the emulation front. Xbox1 scene is still good mind

Nope, and you probably won't find any emulators or other tings apart from XNA. And xna costs you at least $50. Xna is a bit lite Amos for the 360, but you can't share binary files, only source code and you can't access storage units. A better analogy would probably be javascript, but amos sounds better here
http://code.google.com/p/xnasharpnes/

The 360 has a very tight security system where the whole console is locked down by digitally signing pretty much everything. Even the boot code is stored inside the CPU. So sofar no credible source running unsigned (real homebew) code has been shown, and is not likely to be.

The 360 DVDrom-bios hack out now allows you to boot signed code from a writable media, ie clone games. But it's still just signed code/piracy, not homebrew
