there is only one Paula.. so nothing to swap with.
1488 and 1489 might be bad aswell.. you cannot swap them |

Which terminal? Did you use 9600 bps, 8N1?

8N1 = 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity. You will see that in the putty config section "Connection -> Serial" and it's the default so should be OK.
You could try diagrom in the working machine to check your serial setup is working. |
