Yes sure. Will add an new menu entry to set this (and even disable the auto-select if wanted)

You need to strap the MTRON input to the J7's Pin 1 (The display connector).
This variant is experimental, not ready for daily usage.

Not yet I wanted to wait on the MTRON input to J7 information

Tried it without the wire. For some reasons this will probably "work" .

switch to normal/direct selection mode when no HXCSDFE.CFG are present.

NOTE : Without HXCSDFE.CFG the last image selection is not saved.

EDIT : From the pictures i see that you can display 20 or 21 characters per line. Don't hesitate to change the display "resolution"

That is running your new firmware, however I can't tweak anything as the DOS manager software is too ancient to even handle more than 15 slots.

Edit, the physical resolution is 128 x 32 pixels.

You can tweak all you want without any software : Remove the usb stick and press both buttons to enter the setting menu.
