On that subject, could you make the timeout to select configurable please? I'm too impatient for 4s. :-D

Yes sure. Will add an new menu entry to set this (and even disable the auto-select if wanted)

- New setting menu item : auto selection setting.
You can now set the desired timeout for the auto selection

- HxCFEUSB_V3_0_28_1a_EXPERIMENTAL_AMIGADRIVE_ID firmware variant :
Experimental emulation of the Amiga drive ID circuit.
You need to strap the MTRON input to the J7's Pin 1 (The display connector).
This variant is experimental, not ready for daily usage.

Not yet I wanted to wait on the MTRON input to J7 information

Tried it without the wire. For some reasons this will probably "work" .

Firmware update ! :

Quote:
17 October 2017: Firmware STM32 USB HxCFloppyEmulator v3.0.33.1a

- Config-Less Mode :

Use the settings saved into the device internal flash memory and
switch to normal/direct selection mode when no HXCSDFE.CFG are present.

To change settings without config file, just use the embedded config menu
(Remove the USB Stick and press both buttons to enter it).

NOTE : Without HXCSDFE.CFG the last image selection is not saved.

- More CPC DSK format variant support. (again !)

Perfect timing to test the latest firmware with the optimized OLED code.
EDIT : From the pictures i see that you can display 20 or 21 characters per line. Don't hesitate to change the display "resolution"

That is running your new firmware, however I can't tweak anything as the DOS manager software is too ancient to even handle more than 15 slots.

Edit, the physical resolution is 128 x 32 pixels.

You can tweak all you want without any software : Remove the usb stick and press both buttons to enter the setting menu.
