.xfc file format support ?
I used Gimp on Linux to save a couple of screenshots.
Gimp seemed to use .xfc format as default (!?). The format is unknown to me. I assume I could have been able to use some more popular image file format with Gimp; but anyway, I'd like to know, if there's any kind of support for the .xfc file format on Amiga OS ..?! I tried a couple of image processing programs; FXPaint, ImageFX, Photogenics etc. but none of them did recognize .xfc format. Theoretically, would a Datatype be possible ? |

If you use File -> Save As, it will save in its native format (.xcf).
If you use File -> Export As, you can save in any other file format. |

http://amiga.sourceforge.net/ImageMagick/ If you want to go full then you can install the Amiga version of Gimp - like i did. Yes, but I doubt that anyone will bother... Last edited by James; 12 February 2022 at 17:36. Reason: Added more info. |
