Thanks for your kind advice, Dary.
I was fortunate to find a recent back-up of the system hardfile, one I'd copied to my ASSUS eee 10000 netbook. I applied R1.2 upgrade without any problem, so I did not attempt your solution. |

Hi,
I have AmigaSYS4AGA running on my A1200/030, and its fantastic!! I also have an A1200/BPPC 040/BVision system, with OS3.5 installed. I'd like to wipe it and install Amigasys4, but will it work okay, with CGX V4 installed so I can use the BVision? |

I installed AmiSYS AGA on my 4000 over the weekend and it looks great but I am having a problem installing my Deneb. I keep getting error msg.
20-poseidon.library: SET_ADDRESS failed: packet too large (5) 20-poseidon.library: Device enumeration failed, sorry. Deneb was working flawlessly before switching to AmiSYS. Any ideas ??? |

@hit
Thanks for the proposal, I'm glad that somebody cares. Unfortunately not with much success. As everybody knows AmigaSYS is a completely free project, however the development and maintenace costs me a lot (time, hardwares, webhosting, etc). When I released new versions nearly no support and reaction came, but the downloads were increasing a lot. Lack of support made my motivation low. I was waiting but nothing happened. Regarding new versions the currect situation is not enough for me to continue. That's why I put that donation bar on the homepage. I would gladly make a new version for the Amiga community, but for that I also need you, to support me with the costs of the development of AmigaSYS 5. Ps. You'd laugh if you'd know how low is the support needed to reach 100%. Ridiculous.. Dary |

I left off Amiga with OS 2.1, since I could not afford repairs or upgrades.
I like the way AmigaSYS looks, so I use it, over AmigaForever2006 set up, but I really just use it for launching my favorite old paint apps now and then. If I had a more modern Amiga experience, I'd be able to value it more, but it's boggling/I'm lazy. I suggest someone start a blog about exploring AmigaSys, if they have the time and inclination. |

Themes
First thx for the new update !
I noticed that there is a folder named "Themes" in amigaSYS but how do I use them ? Manually load the prefs in each program concerned or is there an automated way for OS3.1 ? One more point: is it a good idea to install systempatch 3 with AmigaSYS4 R1.3 ? Thx guys Last edited by Amilord; 19 September 2009 at 01:53. |
