Cant install MUI

Hi, I have download mui38usr and whenever I try to install it I get an error along these lines...

COPYLIBS: error cant copy file " " error line ##

Error drawer or file does not exist

Any ideas?

Update your Installer tool to a newer one.

makesure you unpack to ram or a HDF as using windows folders as a hard-drive will cause problems.

Windows cannot read a file that is simply named as a space (" ").

Does os3.9 not come with the latest version?

I will try and extract it to my ram disk like Bippym said. I have downloaded the latest version of installer from Aminet also.

Version .43 or something.

It does work in directory harddrive _IF_ you unpack the MUI lha archive _inside_ the emulation with _Amiga LHA_

Do not use UnArc to unarchive MUI unless you have at least Boingbag 1 installed. Without BB1 UnArc does not handle file names with spaces in it correctly.

You should install BB1 anyway.

Installed bb1 and mui....where do I put the miami MUI libs?

Smiley, as Toni Wilen wrote, you have to unpack the archive on real Amiga or under emulation and then proceed with instalation. Otherwise you are not going to make it.
