A501: will it still work
finally got around opening my A501 of 23 years old to check for battery rot, and my fears were founded.
Now the question is, do you think the A501 will still work?? (haven't got the time yet to setup & switch on my A500 yet) ideas??? battery removed, state of PCB and clock chip (do not really care about that one now!) |

Will probably work, just the clock time will not work. I saw worst over the years and they still work.
