Dkb1240..
howdy
i just found a DKB1240 accelerator board on ebay.. i know its a 030 but can anyone tell me if theyre any good for games etc? cheers |

I thought the 1230 was the '030 version and the 1240 was the '040 version
EDIT: nevermind, I found the info on the Big Book of Amiga Hardware Guide. Damn, the naming is misleading as there never was a 1230 at all Oh and to answer your question the guide says there is both a 25 and a 40 MHz version of this board. Which one is for sale ? |

What games do you want to run on it? If its just WHDload retro games than there should be no problem aslong as it has 4mb or more onboard.

I agree with Miggy on this one. If you're wanting to do more then just some games, such as graphics, then more memory and speed is recommended to get an acceptable performance outta the app
