F15-2 Strike Eagle - I dunno where to put it

Hello. This is not problem itself. This game is good PC conversion or maybe it is original game it doesn't matter. I'm reading amiga history article now, and sth came to my mind.
This game is nice looking but extremelly slow flight "simulator" or flight emulator on A500. Question is this game slowness was caused of bad programming or Amiga500 wasn't herself able to put the life in game like that?
I read that Jay Minner was fan of virtual flight simulation and ideas of blitter and HAM mode have been born in his mind after some session of virtual simulation.
I hope You understand what I am asking for

Obviously you miss Tornado on Amiga...that would give you a pretty real figure of "slow speed"...so you'll feel bit better on F-15...

F-15SE2 is made by Microprose, so that rules out bad coding. It's slow A500 Microprose has done a great job implementing (at that time) 3D filled graphics with nice arcadeish mood. It was supposed to run under unexpanded OCS/ECS machine with that graphics, so it's more feature vs performance. Now, if you have upgraded A500 (020 or better accelerator, some spare FastRAM) you should install WHDLOAD version of that game which will improve framerate.

P.S.
If you look carefully on my avatar, you'll see a F-15E breaking hard left in full burner.
