Looks great! But seriously, it needs (if not already implemented) a search function or at least a 'Favorites' list.

Ere, Gibs is this thread having a go at me
Sorry but I didn't realize anyone was begging me for anything... The only reason that I haven't put mine on aminet yet is because I haven't had time to create an install script for them and didn't want folk downloading the thing and not being able to set it up properly. If anyone does want them then I could upload them now with some instructions on where to place the files and how to set up the util, but the donkey work would have to be down to the user just now, ie: lzx archiving all your games and placing them in the appropriate A to Z directories. So if folk really want to try them in this way, then let me know and I'll upload it asap. Cheers Franko PS: I like the look of your one, pretty neat. |

Hi everyone.
At the start of the project my idea was just to code a cool list launcher with a lot of colours (160 colours at this time on an A500/A600) and sound to start some games/apps without loading the sad and slow 4 colours workbench. In the idea something who's looking like an oldschool trainer/crack'tro with some cools chiptunes in background. At this time the project is the same but more complete/leached. The idea is now that X-bEnCH is not just a cool launcher but can be totally autonomous. It'll have a cli and a files/dirs manager integreted so you can boot on xbench and do what you have to do without loading a workbench. The project's target is not highly modified configurations but rather a vanilla amiga with an hard disk. Or maybe a CD32/CDTV with a compilation on a cd and X-bEnCH to manage it as the first interface loaded. Hope you've understand me and my poor english ... Thanks to Gibs for the post |

Whoa.
Can't wait for this to be released. Guess you don't need any more alpha testers? 8| |
