Playing Clockwiser CD32 in WinUAE

Hi,

I downloaded the image of Clockwiser that musashi5150 kindly upped and burned it to CD. I managed to boot the game fine using my A1200 WinUAE config (2Mb slow ram, AGA, 68020, Kickstart 3.1) having the CD mapped as the hard disk. The problem is that there's no sound anywhere in the game (or CD-Audio playing) and it takes about 5 minutes for the level to fade in.

Clearly I'm doing something wrong. I'm sure you folks will know where it's all gone awry.

Cheers,
Pete...

you need a CD32 config:

68EC020,AGA, 2 MB Chip, No floppy & hd. You need of course the CD32 Kickstart & Extended CD32 rom.

Glad people are enjoying it

I'm still very much after Bubble and Squeak for CD32 (with proper audio - not MP3)... <sigh>

Hi

I'm back again. Well it all seems to load fine now (cheers Retro-Nerd on the heads up about the two CD32 roms required) and I've got the music to work and the beginning animation is fine. The menu also works as it should do but it still takes ages for each level to get displayed (it fades up in like a mesh like pattern but each group of pixels takes ages). Plus (unless I'm being really rubbish here, I can't remember this being an issue before when I played this game back in the day), I can't seem to select any blocks on the main play area. The selecty-rectangle thing doesn't seem to appear.

Anyone else tried this on WinUAE yet, is it just me being stupid again?
