hmmm as long as they weren't plugged in, a big investment in baths of distilled water, cotton buds and airing cupboards could see a lot of that hardware revived...

If that had happened to my vintage equipment, I'd go on the rampage

And what DDNI said, most of it will be salvageable.

Is that Lawrence's collection?! For those that don't know the name, NFG is proprietor of sites including nfggames.com and gamesx.com. He has (or had) a huge collection of rare stuff. I used to buy from him when he was in Japan.

I totally agree with you, this thread is too superfluous to say the least.

However, I didn't read this was NFG's stuff, so, I guess there's some karma going on here. See what happens when you rip people like me off on sales, NFG?

I'd have to disagree, I'd save my A1200 before the wife any day!

Hmmm something that hasnt crossed my mind before! What would happen if I had to run for my life.... would I grab my amiga?

Tbh the best way would be to have another miggy stashed somewhere else and if you got out safe with your family, kids etc you would still have at least one amiga to carry on with.

But at the end of the day the floods over in aussieland is a bad sign for the way things are going these days. RIP to anyone that didnt make it
