Impressive... does this scan your ADFs like Lemonade or is another tool needed?

It scans them. To make sure you got a complete collection, clrmamepro or romcenter will come in handy, though.

You need to use the supplied dats for either clrmamepro or romcenter to properly scan and rename them. GameBase itself can only scan by name rather than crc.

Question

Just wondering as I like to add my own games to the Gamebase how do I get Gamebase Amiga to insert the 2nd disk into the 2nd drive ?

To try and clarify I add a game select disk 1 as the game file so Gamebase Amiga automatically puts this into the 1st drive but for 2,3,4 etc disk games how do I insert disk 2 into drive automatically at game launch ?

I am presuming this is possible of course

GameBase works by the filenames and more specifically the last character for recognising more than 1 disk.

So if disk 1 is called Game_Disk1.zip it will look for and automatically insert Game_Disk2.zip Game_Disk3.zip etc. Letters will work also i.e. DiskA.zip DiskB.zip
TOSEC names like (Disk 1 of 2) and (Disk 2 of 2) won't work.

Thanks for replying, That's where I was going wrong (Disk 1) like the TOSEC disks. Many Thanks and keep up the good work.

Also do you have a list of the best adf versions of games ? I believe you are testing them to make sure you have the best version of the game (ie one that doesn't crash on the 2nd level etc). Would be nice if you can share this information as this is my prime problem with Amiga emulation gaming.

Well there are dats for use with GameBase Amiga on the site, the adfs in the dats are the ones that I believe to be the best. (although it's always subject to change), and games that aren't in the dats are games I haven't tested yet.
