CDFS automount and .backdrop

Ciao Toni take advantage of the discussion to tell you what happens when there is a .backdrop file on the CD. Once this CD has been unmounted, the icon created by the backdrop, even if it is not working, remains on the Workbench. All this does not happen with amiga OS (mountlist) editing. If not my translation is not understandable, look at the two attached videos.

Lets see..

- Videos only -> instant ignore.
- Hijacking others post where cause has to be something else (OP's problem was no changes being detected at all).

EDIT: Does it work in standard WB 3.1 too? It more like sounds some later WB update feature.

Ok Toni thank you I believed the topic was common.

This also happens with OS 3.0 and 3.1 Standard, if the CD contains links to the Workbench (.backdrop) these icons are not eliminate after the CD Eject or CD Exchange .

With the traditional mounlist (Mount CD0) this does not happen, icon .backdrop is eliminate after CD Eject or CD Exchange

Hi Toni, if it can be useful, the problem also happens with windows folders and volumes dragged to the Workbench where a backdrop is created

With the floppy instead everything works, as soon as we remove the floppy from the reader also disappears the .backdrop from Workbench.

I think I have an idea why it happens but I am not going to change anything until next official version is out.
