Hi Danko!
Try cleaning all sockets.
I had the same problem with REV 6 and CIA socket.

does it boot a floppy when you insert it when the whitescreen remains?
Does the empty drive click?
Does it react to a reset over keyboard?
Can you connect over composite to see if it makes a difference display wise?

Tested amiga without keyboard and floppy drive connected to exclude any cause, when connected to the floppy drive and insert a floppy no drive click or loading, the screen goes white, grey, white, but the startup screen doesn't appear.

Just uploaded AmigaTroubleshooterPART 1 and 2 to the zone. Its in PDF and pic format, check it out.

The pic versions are a tad blurry so have included the "more readable" PDF version as well.

Pay particular attention to Part 2 under heading -

-Power up Problems
1. No Workbench Prompt:

There is a lot of info there that should be helpful.

Had the same exact problem on one of my A2000's some 15 years ago. Think the problem was a small resisiter on m/b that died. Yours could be something else.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Hi,sorry for the latey,in according with AmigaTroubleshooter:

POWER UP PROBLEMS
1. No workbench prompt:

Screen goes from dark grey to light grey but does not display
8520 U7 Odd CIA (U300 A2000)
8364 U3 Paula (U200 A2000)
EMI 1301 1ohm resistor (R309 Rev. 6A/7 boards; R200 A2000)
8370 - 8372/8375 U2 Fat Agnus (U101 A2000)
74LS32 U37

Replaced 1 Ohm 1 Watt resistor and amiga works fine, but after power off and want to power on the problem occurs again, I have to wait a bit to make it work I do not understand.

A500 will boot without the even CIA in place so remove it and try to boot. try all your CIA chips in Odd CIA socket. Remove keyboard, unplug all peripherals, unplug floppy drive and any expansion cards etc
