just for fun, why nobody try to do a demo with the full power of winuae ?
what could be accomplish ?
i know that nobody will do it because he will have just critics : it's not the real amiga hardware etc ...
But with the today pc power and winuae which game could be ported to it ?
today pc with winuae are they enough powerfull to emulate a ps2 ???
ps1, i think so, but tony perhaps could tell me what could be realized on winuae if all the over power was realized.

what's the name of the emulator ?
i suppose there is no sound ? like too often.
i said too often, because, i think, one day we will have fpga more powerfull than winuae actually.
then it could make sense to develop applications or games which use the power of winuae, one day it will work at full speed on fpga or os4 uae ...
could have sense because it could run on os4 and winuae and perhaps fpga later= more users
even if this not the same feeling than good old amiga.
I dream that aeon could make a mb that feet in an amiga new keyboard or a new powerfull amiga 1200 accelerator, in fact something with more amiga soul, but i'm sure the aeon boss think about it, it's an amiga dreamer then all is possible. Hopefully it's not just a guy who took the name and put it on a pc with winslow.

I'm pretty sure a native Windows PS1 emulator does a much better (and faster) job though?

@TCD
Logically are PC emulators, better and faster than the thing, but that was not the question. An emulator in an emulator is not the first choice when there are better on the system itself ^ ^.

@turrican3
Try it and you know it.

I know it's a 'because I can' kind of thread, but running an emulator in an emulator when it's not necessary... okay I shut up

there's already some demos out there that more or less require WinUAE to get any decent frame rate..
