Neo Geo on 1.8m wide (6ft) screen! (projector)

I been messing around recently with an NEC LCD Projector I got for free, damn it's awesome, I've set it up on a shelf on the opposite side of the room projecting onto a white wall in our back room.

OMG, Metal Slug on a 6ft display, it's unreal!

Yes, they're my PC screens (bottom left), 21in and 24in LCD!

It can go even bigger, this is the smallest setting! I could have an 8ft screen if I moved some stuff!

Gaming has never been so much fun!

Neo Geo CD, I'd love an AES but the Games are just too expensive and of course I can burn up my own CD's

Precisely the reason why I have just purchased a projector (or a series of cheap projectors) lol ... the lamps are the main cost, but I'm looking to doing some 'mods' to overcome this!

I found my PS1 stash of Games in the loft and lived the dream this afternoon, Ridge Racer on the big screen!

As I was playing via my PS2 it would have been rude not to have a blast on GT4

Unless he decides to do a lamp mod. But it's about £100 for a lamp that would last you 3 or moee years depending on usage.

Thanks guys! It's definitely a lot of fun!

Lucky the bulb has had only little use, about 3% when I last checked!

Yep I'm thinking a projector is the way to go for retro games, I'll have to start planning for a projector room now

I use an Epson 3LCD projector, not as good a screen update as my old Sony RGB CRT one but a lot smaller! Play Dreamcast, Raspberry Pi and PS2 on it although all of those have emulators too.

I was expecting it to look very blocky, but that looks fantastic. Very nice picture.
