Skidmarks 2
Hi,
I don't know if it's a work in progress, but is anyone thinking of doing skidmarks 2? Thanks. Is it hard to make the installers? Maybe I could give it a go. |

You'll need to have good 680x0 assembler skills, detailed "under-the-hood" Amiga hardware knowledge, practice in tracing other peoples code and a good dollop of enthusiasm
If you get stuck, making friends with other installers is always a plus as it's great to have a fresh perspective to bounce ideas off sometimes Plus we aren't a bad bunch of chaps really |

You know what, I'm dense sometimes.
I forgot it was also called Super Skidmarks! Nevermind. EDIT: Just read Horace's post. It is indeed release 1 of the CD32 version. Would that not mean some things will be missing? |

Well I can't believe it is not too far off 10 YEARS since the initial Super Skidmarks install and there is STILL no sign of a floppy disk WHD version. Also in another thread someone mentioned there was an official installer for this game on Aminet but I can't find it.
http://aminet.net/search?query=skidmarks Is it really this difficult to do an install for this game? Does no one feel up to the challenge? |

is it really worth it now that you can download the CD32 version very easily?
what's the point? What does it add to the CD32 version? note: track format is the same as Skidmarks. |

the disk release has a bug on disk 6 which would be cool to have finally nailed the text scroll on one of the map of this disk is shifted, and displayed just under the mask Next the disk 6 seems to have a bit different format than the other disks. |
