Can someone tell me why is it when I create a disk from a DMS archive it comes up as NDOS?
I recall this means it's a non-standard boot-block on it and/or non-standard disk format.
I seem to get it with just about anything I download.

It's very likely that the things you are putting back onto disk are NDOS games. ie. They can be booted but you can't look at the contents from Workbench
