Walker's "Screens of Death" quiz

Most games just throw a "Game Over" text in your face, making it even harder to face that your game character is no more. As if some games aren't hard enough, huh?
Well, fortunately some game developers gave half an hour of their valuable time to a nice game over screen. Let's see if you remember them! Some are quite easy, some are as hard as... as.... whatever.

Oh yeah, since all images are taken from the HOL archive, members of the HOL team are forbidden to take part in this quiz.
Yes, that includes you too Cody! Stop whining, Twist!

OK, here's #1:

Big grin

Abandoned Places 2. I remembr playing the the demo version to death off The One's coverdisk years ago. That death scene guitar solo was brilliant!

Cool Guessing...

About guessing the correct titles: Since I am not that good in playing games, I know tons of ‘Game-Over’-screens. :laugh

About picture number 5: I really don’t have a clue from which game it is taken. I guess some French title like Coktel Vision’s Ween?

Nope, #5 is not a French game. Two hints:

1. It's an action game
2. 1988

Too tough for you, eh? OK, here's the last hint for #5:

The title has four characters, and two of them are the same.

I told you, these screens are stored in the DEEPEST dungeons. That's where we keep the ugly, dirty, horrible ones. Oh yeah, Twistin Ghost lives there too.
