bug in fs-uae?

I love FS-UAE. I was using winuae64 with whload but was having some issues loading some of my original Amiga disk that I've been having all these years through Hyperspin. After a few hours learning AHK script and playing around, I finally got it working.

There is 1 problem that I figured out after an hour or so trying to find the problem. I'm loading games with command line and it seems that the games will not load if there is a space in the filename. I fixed a few filenames by deleting the space or replacing with _ but this would be very time consuming.

Is there an easy fix in code to allow the spaces?

Thanks for all your hard work. I'm a Die Hard Amiga Fan since '85 with 4 or so still in working shape. I just refuse to give them up.

there are some tools out there, which will do the job for you. third party tools or "powershell" of win7.
read here: How to Batch Rename Files in Windows.
but beware - test any of these possibilities on some sample files first

Thanks but it's not needed now. I can't believe I didn't think of quotes. It worked fine. Just need to edit my AHK a bit to apply the fix. Thanks TCD for the nudge

One thing to keep in mind, the quotes are not a requirement of FS-UAE - only the shell or similar (depending on method to start fs-uae with parameters).

For example, when specifying paths in configuration files, you must never include quotes, or FS-UAE will look for paths starting and ending with the quotes.
