Looking at releasing an update for this in a few weeks. Will probably hope to add 50 demos or so for v1.1.
More new releases from May 2017 upto April 2018. More old school demos. And the main reason for the update will be a ‘fast-ram’ folder, 20-25 demos that require fast-ram, these wont be mixed in with the other lists though, just placed all in one folder on the top menu. Is there any demos that anyone wants to see on the disc? (I cant guarantee they will work but ill give them a shot upon request) |

Did you manage to extract anything from the archive? I used the latest version of 7zip on Windows as well as I was trying many different unrar depacker on Amiga and no luck.

Using the latest Winrar should give no probs, though seeing more people are having the same prob i will go back to zipping them instead, i will update the Mega download with a zipped version sometime today.

I love this... my only request is it possible to queue up a bunch demos and run through them like a music videos? And no, I do not mean to convert to videos then playback but run in real-time on the CD32 or UAE?
Would be awesome as a user selectable party mix. |

Kind Regards, Sebastian |

Would be great to do, but i dont have the coding skills to do anything like that, you would have more chance requesting from the ags menu creator guys (statmat made the latest revisions) to implement a stack feature that plays one after the other and clears the memory in the process. |

First, the demo whdload slave has to be able to end itself after it "recognizes" it's done (where to draw the line with looper demos and how?), so it would depend on each demo slave supporting this. Second, I think that after WHDLoad exits successfully, there might be some RAM junk remnant that might not let another one run fine. Why do I say this? I've had issues, for example, in the collection already if a demo quits and you are sent back to the selector, if you choose another demo, it doesn't work. This is why a disclaimer to reset after every demo has been added to the collection. So yeah, not a chance this will happen, starting from the fact that you would need a loooooot of slaves modified and the demos that are not being run from a slave modified too etc. |

Also in normal packdisk what Akira said is true
If a demo quit to the selector menu, you are not SURE that another demo will work fine again |

The answer is in startup-sequence. On every boot I generate random number and execute script with that number associated with certain demo. Scripts end with reboot. So it relays on reboot. If demo doesn't end on its own, you have to reboot manually.
Whdload Timeout option would be nice to utilize but someone would have to spend some time to find which one are friendly with it and which one are not. Also it'd be better for HD/fast ram solution. |

Maybe a '030 or high RAM requirement demo section for TF330 owners
I did not come across it while watching the demos I was testing for the disc, but have you seen the demo (original 80's/90's) with talking fish in a tank (like the Monty Python sketch). I am sure the demo is set in a room and you click on areas of the room to access different parts of the demo. I remember the fish and a spinning coke can.
