Vital light question

Hello everyone and merry Christmas ! Hope that you enjoyed a lot if you celebrated .

A little question about the game "Vital light".
I transfered the game and it perfectly works on my A1200 if you disable eveything except DF0 with "cpu no cache" and "OCS display" (but impossible to load it on my A500) and i noticed that the disks cracked by pirates (those aga fixed) are not the intro one but another version of the full game (that more over crashes on my A1200, i choosed the disks names 3/4 bootable and 4/4). I believed as the files names are 1/4 to 4/4 that the intro were the 2 first disc but apparently not. There is a pdx cracked version too in 2 disks.
I can't try right now, so do someone know which adf is the intro one ?
Thanks for your help !

Reiterated today to understand what's going wrong with this one but i couldn't find.
The set "Vital Light (1994)(Millennium)(Disk 1 of 2).zip" and "Vital Light (1994)(Millennium)(Disk 2 of 2).zip" runs with WinUAE but even doesn't boot on my ECS Agnus A500 (behaves like a blank disc 1 !). Can anyone tell me if there is a working set including the intro for an OCS/ECS KS1.3 A500 ?

According to HOL this game is on 2 floppy disks: Vital Light

So the following tests were done in WinUAE...

2 disk version:
  • This set works with 512KB Chip & 512KB Slow RAM / OCS or ECS but you can only have one drive enabled (so I assume the same when using a real Amiga). If you want to use 2 drives then you need 1MB Chip RAM.
  • It does have an intro.

4 disk version [Skidrow]:
  • This one is interesting; you definitely need to use 1MB Chip RAM and won't boot using 512KB Chip & 512KB Slow RAM.
  • If you boot using disk 1 you will see a different, more animated intro than with the 2 disk set. Errors afterwards though no matter what configuration I try i.e. different Kickstarts etc...
  • If you boot using disk 3 it will load to the options screens. When you try to start the game it asks for disk 2; doesn't matter if you insert "disk 2 [SR]" or "disk 4 [SR]" the game will crash.

Now I haven't tried the [CD32] version but this Skidrow floppy disk set seems like it could possibly be a beta CD32 rip?

The "2 disk version" runs well in WinUAE but doesn't boot at all on my A500 512Kb Chip & 512Kb Slow ECS Agnus with DF0 only, that's why i wonder if someone already run this set on a real machine.

"Does not boot"=? (It is dos bootable disk, it just can't become unbootable without disk errors)

This disc Toni "Vital Light (1994)(Millennium)(Disk 1 of 2).zip".
It runs well in WinUAE, but doesn't even boot on my A500. I insert the disc into my DF0 and it just behaves like if the floppy was a blank empty one, idk why.

But what exactly happens? Insert disk screen reappears? Black screen? Something else?

Nothing special happens, just 3 tics of the DF0 motor to try to run it, then the Amiga hand appears again. Like if you insert a non formatted floppy.

It means bad transfer or bad disk (or bad drive). Normal ADF image can never be unformatted or damaged, it can only store valid DOS tracks.

Solved Tony !
The floppies are ok, i always use new Imation ones after have formatted them in "V" mode with X-copy (i have a working collection of about 2000 floppies).

Apparently this one CAN'T be transfered on a HD floppy. I just tried on a DD and it worked, so i retransfered it on the HD one by hiding the floppy hole and it worked too.

In 2 thousands floppies it is the very first one i meet that i can't run on a HD disc, just crazy lol.
