Could you try viewing pictures with multiview and then try again by renaming it to Multiview_PPC? Note the capitals at the end of the name. Any difference in speed?

Tried renaming to PPC as suggested no speed difference. Still 68k speeds.
To make sure I wasn't crazy I looked at the same jpeg on an 060 system, no difference between them.. |

No speed difference with a 060? You sure you have the correct datatypes installed?

Think I figured some of this out.
I tried reinstalling the warpdt, it didn't see the ppc. It said that is needs version 5.x of warpos installed. I installed warpos for the mediator which I think is 4.2. What files to I copy over to get updated and not ruin the mediator? |

4.2 is Warp3D which is not WarpOS.
Try installing warpdt after you started the ppc with initppc. |

Hmm. My mistake. Ok.
Silly question do I need to install warpos 5.1 or just use the sonnet archive? I tried initppc with the same results. WarpDT doesn't see warpos/warpup 5.0. |

Do NOT install warpos 5.1.
You only need the sonnet archive. |

I do recall having a problem with the WarpDT installer, at the time it seemed to have a static check for a specific version of Warp.library, which at the time didn't like our "fake" one.

I bet the installer doesn't work correctly.
I think my problem is awhile ago I install warpos 4 and then 5 and I may have pieces leftover that are messing with warpdt. I will see if there is an uninstall or just remove files to see if that helps. If you have any suggestions let me know! Interestingly when I had version 5.1 of warpos at one point installed, warpdt would select warpos and install... |

Do you have warp.library installed in your libs: ? If so, remove it.

Yes I do. Removed it. Not sure anymore if I have the 68k or the warp datatypes. I copied them from a backup I had from my cyberppc so I assumed they were the warp ones. Maybe I'm using the 68k, although I doubt it. Will play some more and see if I can figure that out...
Thanks for the help. Last edited by matt3k; 02 March 2019 at 13:44. |

If in the file there is a reference to powerpc.library, then it is WarpOS. If not, then 68k.

only Mediator A1200TX, or Is It possibile to use an old Mediator PCI 1200 2000 rev. 1.0 (or same as LT4) 5V with modified/HACK to 3.3V ?
If possible, which pins need to be changed to 3.3V in the PCI slot where to insert the card K1 or M1 ? http://de6.aminet.net/docs/hard/Hack...or_to_3.3v.pdf http://www.amibay.com/showthread.php...200-LT4ATX-mod According to these guides, only the number A53 pin must be connected to 3.3V power in order to use a radeon card 9200 card, but to use a K1 or M1 card ? There are infact other eleven pins +3.3V those could be connected if needed to give more "power" at the K1/M1 card, according to PCI specs https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Periph...t_Interconnect thx |

Really just connect the 3.3V pins or a couple of them if they are all interconnected. This might also be of some use: https://github.com/Sakura-IT/SonnetA...LittleWeenie5V Looking into this. |

So if all twelve pins 3.3V are interconnected among them, I can connect only two pins (with two different wires) at the 3.3V voltage of the power supply, while if They are NOT interconnected among them, I should connect twelve wires for connect the twelve pins at the 3.3V voltage of the power supply, I understood correctly ? An other important question (this old mediator model has 4 PCI slot at 5V): doing this hack for only one PCI slot (where I'll add a K1/M1 ppc card), only this "modified PCI slot" will run at 3.3V, while the other three slots will continue to work at 5V, I understood correctly ? After this mod/hack I' ll can finally use the K1/M1 ppc card PCI (in modified PCI slot), plus Voodoo3 PCI (in 5V slot), plus SondBlaster128 (in 5V slot), plus RTL ethernet (in 5V slot), or my A1200 Mediator old model is not then supported by Sonnet library software ? Sorry for this question, but before making this hack hardware, I would like to be pretty sure that I can then use the K1/M1 thanks Last edited by drluking; 03 March 2019 at 22:10. |
