A1200 or A500

After spending a couple of weeks with my A1200 and Gotek, I'm considering my options here.........I only want to play games with no hassle and the Gotek is great, but I'm finding myself messing with Relokick and looking for AGA "fixed" games all too often.......
So my options here are :- get a ram expansion, hard drive setup and WHDload (Not spend more on the "hobby" the wife says !)

or......Sell the A1200 and keep the Gotek, get a nice A500

I still have a really nice WinUAE setup I can use for the odd AGA game anyway.........

Hmmmm.......I dunno...

+1 for WHDLoad - it's essential.

All depends on how you want to play the games i.e via floppy for real nostalgia, via a hdd or emulation, and pick which games you would play the most.

It's Christmas, your wife can't complain Santa's gifts

You can also sell the Gotek as people say.

I have an A500 with a Gotek drive and recently got an A1200 off ebay. I have added an ACA1221 expansion card and a 4gb CF drive with Whdload on it. I havent touched the A500 since I got the A1200.

A1200.
Easier, affordable expandability, easier file transfer and intercommunication with modern platforms, a few more games that are only AGA and worth your time.
If you have one and don't have a CF hard drive in it and you are not using WHDLoad, you're using it wrong.

+1

Or Santa can give her an ACA 1220 as gift for Christmas this year. ... What a surprise!

Note: I'm awaiting for the three wise kings to give me as a gift a MSX 2 this year if I'm a good boy .
