C64 Ghost n Goblins Music

I've always wondered ... why the music in Ghost n Goblins on the C64 is different to all? other systems.

I grew up with a C64, and this game ... then when I heard MAME / SNES versions ... I was surprised the commodore music wasn't used. Anyone know why?

The music in the C64 version was composed by Mark Cooksey
Elite paid such composer for the exlusive music for this tittle
other computer and console versions of this game paid other composers

btw,

how you can expect the original arcade version done in 1985 have the same music of the C64 tittle which was done 2 years later?
